Responses from Happy Campers
This camp was such an incredible blessing!! Everyone was so sweet & welcoming & encouraging, & I loved how we built each other up & helped each other with our writing. Most of all, though, I love how God was the center of our camp—we sang hymns, prayed for each other, shared His Word, & exhorted + encouraged each other in Him. This was an experience I will never forget & I am so eager for the next camp!
Touched and blessed with prayers from sisters.
I had a lot of fun this month during Camp, and really enjoyed getting to know everybody and write! I really look forward to new camps if you plan any.
The King’s Daughters Writing Camp has connected me with other like-minded Christian writers in a way that no other writing group or program has. The daily encouragement, prayer, brainstorming, fellowship, and writing assistance has been a huge blessing. It’s been a joy to shepherd the ladies in the Prayerful Pens tent, and I’m excited about how God will use the passion and skills of every Camper for His kingdom

The King’s Daughters’ Writing camp has been so encouraging and such a fun place to be apart of! I’ve made new friends, gotten great writing advice, and had some great laughs. One of my favorite parts however was being able to talk about writing whenever I wanted as much as much as I wanted to! I am so glad I joined to say the least and I can’t wait until they do the next one!
A great platform for Christian female writers.
This camp was a HUGE encouragement to me. From talks about Bible translations to ‘does this sound okay?’ for my story. Everyone was a huge blessing and an encouragement, even though I didn’t reach my camp goal. I look forward to doing camp again, Lord-willing.
The King’s Daughters Writing Camp is a great place to engage with likeminded writers, both published and unpublished. It’s a safe, encouraging, and fun way to interact with other writers, to share stories, uncover new reads to add to our ever-growing TBR lists, and cheer one another on to finish our stories. Looking forward to the next camp!
It was amazing to be able to connect with so many other writers! I couldn’t even imagine my July without these girls! With so many normal things shut down, this was my place to connect, chat, share stories, and just have fun. Through Camp, I’ve made friends with girls I might never have “met”!
This was such a wonderful way to connect with other like-minded writers and receive both writing and spiritual encouragement!
I am so glad I got to be a part of this wonderful community with so many sweet ladies who have offered so much encouragement in my writing.
I’m so thankful for a Christian-focused group of like-minded girls to be able to connect with. It’s such a blessing in our current world. I’ve only been a part of it for a few days and I can already tell I’m going to greatly benefit from this awesome group!
So much fun!

This was the first online writer’s camp that I’d ever attended, and I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity! It was a HUGE encouragement to connect with so many other like-minded writers. The atmosphere was lovely as everyone was kind and considerate–always ready to spur you on, help out with a question, or offer to pray for you! Such a lovely experience!!
This camp and you ladies have made me fall in love with writing all over again! You all have also helped me draw closer to God and I am forever thankful for this time.
Hope to experience “The King’s Daughters’ Writing Camp” again!

On July 1, I had little desire to begin writing a book just then and no idea what I would write if I did. By the end of camp, I had completed a 36,000 word middle grade novel I was excited about! Thank you all for your encouragement and help along the way!

A wonderful community of like-minded ladies who will help you with whatever writing project you may have!
I…didn’t participate a whole lot, life kinda got in the way. BUT what time I DID spend at camp was super fun and uplifting!
I loved the camp, and the party they threw for my birthday was the best.
This. Camp. ♥️ July was one of the hardest months I have lived, but these amazing, wonderful women helped challenge me in my writing, faith, life, and more ♥️ Through this camp I have made amazing friendships and grown as a writer. Getting advice from selling authors, to being a alpha and beta reader for some amazing authors. The aunties are always so amazing and kind and there for you. I can’t wait for next camp!!!
I know I wasn’t online a lot, and to be honest, I didn’t get a whole lot written. But just being able to log on and see so many young girls and grown women making friends and seeking to honor the LORD through their writing has been such an encouragement to me! I had so much fun reading all the story snippets, chatting with everyone, and making some new friends along the way!

The King’s Daughters’ Writing Camp was the highlight of my summer! I really enjoyed doing sprints and chatting with friends. The best part of it was that ALL the girls on here were Christians! something you don’t see very often. I loved how we would all pray for each-other and the great encouragement we would all get. My favourite place on the whole camp was probably the mechanic shed were you could help all the other girls out with their stories and other things. I’ve made some great Christian friends and had a wonderful time!
I never knew how much online camp would actually mean to me. C’mon, it’s ONLINE! But I felt loved. I feel like I know everyone I conversed with as if I talked to them face to face, and honestly, it was the next best thing. The King’s Daughter’s Writing camp has blessed me so, so much! I can’t wait for October!
This group has given me the support I needed to increase my writing tenfold in 2020. It’s such a positive place, full of encouragement and fun. The members are so sweet, and we cheer each other on as we write.
I’d already attended a few virtual camps, but honestly, none of them were like this. Everyone encouraged each other in the faith and was always cheering each other on in writing projects. As one of the girls already mentioned, it’s not often you have a camp that’s all Christian and that was such a blessing to me! Having younger and older girls there was also a blessing to me. All in all, I’d recommend this camp to all female writers who wish to be encouraged in their faith as well as their writing.
I love this camp! it was such a blessing! All the girls here helped me, prayed for me, and kept me going. I thank all the aunties who put this camp together and kept it going for me and all the rest of the girls to make friends and keep on working on our wonderful stories/books/or poems. Thank you! Love y’all! Please keep this camp going it is awesome and full of wonderful things! <3

The KDWC is a good, safe writing forum for young Christian girls who want to talk to fellow writers!
I love this camp! I most definitely will be coming back. It is so encouraging talking to so many fellow Christian ladies. ~ Bree
The best fellowship and writing encouragement ever!! Everything is well organized and everyone so helpful trying to figure it all out if you’re a newbie. It’s important to do your best to reach the goal you set at the beginning, and it’s awesome having so many cheerleaders and get to cheer for everyone else, but it’s also flexible if you know you need to change it. A favorite tent was Chapel and Prayer-Circle that I found unique and made connecting with God along with everyone so special! So glad to have been a part of KDWC 2021 👸🏻❤️~ Olivia G.
KDWC gives me the motivation, encouragement, and community I need to push through and write something when I might otherwise give up. There is truly nothing like this community of Christ-centered writing gals and I recommend this online camp to any daughter of the King of kings who wants a month of accountability and amazing encouragement in their writing. Not to mention, it’s a ton of fun. ~ Faith G.
By the time my first camp was over, I felt as if I had been a part of KDWC forever. Looking back now, I can hardly believe how I ever got along in my writing without it. I have made so many wonderful friends, found some of my favourite authors, and have received such great feedback and encouragement on my own writing! I’ve loved every minute of every camp, and I really have had buckets of fun 😉 I am so glad to be a part of KDWC! ~ Lydia Coral
